In the article, there are presented changes in the Gross Domestic Product, wages and salaries, number of employees, unemployment rate and incomes of households in 2004-2007, i.e. after Poland's accession to the European Union. In the analysis, there are used macroeconomic data and results of surveys of household budgets carried out by the Central Statistical Office.
