The aim of this paper is to identify critical factors that affect the expected profit and cash flow in the implementation of investment projects, also achieve the objectives of investment by applying the most advanced models used to quantify the risks of investing. In the study there has been performed the sensitivity analysis of investment and the Monte Carlo simulation, an evaluation of the results of analyzes and syntheses that have been used to support the investment decisionmaking of the enterprise has been carried out.
The purpose of this paper was to investigate how different affective states (positive vs. negative) influence weighting hedonic and utilitarian product attributes. The proposed hypotheses indicated that attributes consistent in valence with decision-makers affective state and product category should gain more weights than inconsistent features. Two experiments were carried out to test those predictions. The findings from the study suggest that the role of affective state on the perceived importance of product attribute is limited. Individuals who participated in Experiment 1 perceived hedonic attributes as more important than utilitarian ones when they experienced positive affect. On the other hand, Experiment 2 showed that participants in negative-affect group weighted consistent features more than inconsistent.
Geographical information systems are becoming increasingly common form of presentation and spatial data management. Area of use of geographical information systems are also gminas, where with the help of these tools it is possible to make strategic decisions and make a lot of administrative decisions. The paper presents results of studies conducted in six urban gminas of the Łódź Metro­politan Area. Analysis of research results, presented in the article, allow to identify target groups of users of geographical information systems in gminas. In this way it becomes pos­sible to determine the scope of information about the opportunities and directions for use of spatial information in many different areas of the city which officials have. The research verify if in the departments dealing with land use planning, real estate, infrastructure, eco­nomic development, promotion and crisis management officials use the geographical infor­mation systems. Direct interviews indicate how many areas of community management can be supported through the use of GIS.
