By definition, green architecture ‘does not limit itself to erecting dull and vacuous structures for the investor, but strives to create optimal healthy and aesthetic environment for people working in specific time and performing specific task.” The game is about achieving harmony between man, architecture, and natural environment. Low energy consumption, frugal use of resources and water, thoughtful management of the environment in the building and ensuring healthy work conditions will be the measure of the success. The author deals with all these architectural aspects.
This article describes basics of Critical Chain concept and Buffer Management, as well as an approach to project management that comes from the Theory of Constraints. CCPM is a method with based on this particular concept. The article points out how to define place and the size of buffers to protect the due date and the critical chain of building object while preserving their specificity. This information were presented in concrete computational example of “Globis” office building in Wrocław.
