Customer satisfaction and the importance of managing relationships come into prominence more and more in agriculture, too. Its importance is true for both profitability and the reduction of risks as well. Nowadays, on the one hand agriculture can be characterized by the customers' increasing pretension which implies a higher-level customer service as an obvious requirement, and the attraction of valuable customers becomes more and more expensive because of market competition on the other hand. In agriculture, customer relationship management also aims at supporting the attraction and safekeeping of lucrative customers, increasing their satisfaction and finally the profitability of the company.

Subject and purpose of work: The main purpose of the article is to research the state of grainproduct subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex and identify the main trends in its functioning as a prerequisite for the implementation of the external economic potential of Ukraine. Materials and methods: The research used methodical tools for analysis, construction of econometric models, as well as open information sources of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. Results: A set of factors (independent variables) were determined and the existence of theoretically their relationship with the production profitability of cereals and legumes (dependent variable) was substantiated. The regression equations for the investigated factors dependence were formed. The reliability of the econometric model was proved using Fisher's criterion and Student's t-criterion test. Conclusions: To increase the external economic potential of the grain-product subcomplex of the agroindustrial complex, it is advisable to focus on building rational mechanisms for managing the identified determinants of efficiency ensuring of the latter.

The paper contains an overview of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) implemented in food and agricultural enterprises. The description of the sector summarizes some unique features compared to numbers describing food production aspects in Europe. For better understanding of the whole phenomenon the paper describes an innovative processes and technology progress in general and in the sector as well. Important aspects and potential problematic areas such as factors that infl uence ICT deployment are shown and analyzed. Main focus is directed on the technologies of e-business and its impact on organizational aspect of the sector. Also the role of ICT in the innovation process and product has been reviewed and certain areas of improved activities compared and summarized. Very forward-looking technology in the agri-food sector is SOA. With a common data exchange standards, it is possible to transfer information between different units.

Celem pracy było przedstawienie uwarunkowań rozproszenia sektora rolniczego w kontekście wpływu na konkurencyjność gospodarstw rolnych. Analizę przeprowadzono wykorzystując model pięciu sił Portera. Specyficzną cechą sektora rolniczego, zasadniczo odróżniającą go od większości innych sektorów, poza przestrzennym usytuowaniem w środowisku przyrodniczym, jest jego rozproszenie, o którym przede wszystkim decyduje liczba gospodarstw rolnych. Przekłada się to bowiem bezpośrednio na wielkość gospodarstwa, która jest jednym z czynników determinujących skalę produkcji. Inne ważne przyczyny ekonomiczne, leżące u podstaw rozproszenia omawianego sektora to brak korzyści wynikających z wielkości zawieranych transakcji, zarówno z nabywcami produktów rolniczych, jak i dostawcami środków produkcji, czy bariera wyjścia z rolnictwa.

In the last years, Romanian business environment was liable to transform their self, either legislative or institutional aspect, or psychological, cultural, or social aspect. These transformations are direct connected with the internal or external contacts established in here, the mentalities, customs or traditions of the “market actors”. Foreign investors came in Romania with their own behavior but, in the same time, they adjusted their self and borrowed from the internal environment, and we can talk about some particularities of the Romanian business. In this study, we try to show the evolution of the foreign investments in Romania, the contribution to the Romanian economy construction, and the real situation, under this aspect, close to the moment of the integration in the EU.
