Results of studies on distribution of Vicia grandiflora in central easternPolandits occurrence in various plant communities are given in the paper. For the first time the species was noted in Łochów in 1983. Nowadays 26 stations of Vicia randiflora from Vicietum tetraspermae community, roadsides, wastelands and meadows are known. At 3 stations (localities: Łochów, Białki near Siedlce, Wodynie) the species occurs abundantly and shows expansive character. At the remaining localities Vicia grandiflora occurs in small numbers. Explanation of its behavior - possible expansiveness - requires further studies.
