Borkhausenia nephrax Hodges is new to the Polish fauna. So far the species is known only from the City of Warsaw where its occurrence has been noticed since 1961. Moths were most frequently found in flats, heated cellars and dungeons.
New records for 10 Polish species of Depressariinae are given. Agonopterix bipunctosa (Curtis) and Depressaria heydenii Zeller are new to the Polish fauna. The host plant for. A. bipunctosa (Curt.) is Serratula tinctoria L., for D. heydenii Zell. - Mutellina purpurea (PoiR.) Thell.
In the summer of 1997 a mass occurrence of parsnip webworm Depressaria pastinacella (DUP.) was observed. Many specimens of Litomastix kriechbaumeri MAYR (Encyrtidae) were reared from caterpillars of this herbivore. This species is new to the Polish fauna.
New data are given on 64 species of 22 Microlepidoptera families (excluding Tortricidae) for the province of Pomerania (northern Poland). 40 of these species have been recorded in this region for the first time in over 100 years.
