Occurrence requirements and spatial organisation of cowslip (Primula veris L.) natural populations from the Wielkopolska region were examined. On three chosen localities of P. veris the permanent plots were established in 1996 and 1997. The chemical analyses of the soil samples were made and the participation of different species in the examined populations was determined. On the basis of cartographic documentation and the value of the dispersion coefficient, the type of the spatial structure was determined.
The paper presents the flora of vascular plants found in two evangelical cemeteries located about 11 km apart. The main objective of this work was to make an inventory and compare the vascular flora of both cemeteries, and to assess the role of cemeteries as sites of introduction of apophytes and spread of anthropophytes. A total of 154 species were recorded in the two cemeteries (54 in common). Several apophytes (Stellaria holostea, Fragaria moschata, Anemone nemorosa, Convallaria majalis) and anthropophytes (Hesperis matronalis, Viola odorata) had been introduced to both cemeteries, either accidentally or intentionally.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań jakości wody i natężenia przepływów w sześciu przekrojach pomiarowo-kontrolnych położonych wzdłuż biegu rzeki Małej Wełny. Badania prowadzono od lipca 1998 do grudnia 2000 roku. Stwierdzono istotny dodatni związek korelacyjny między natężeniem przepływu i stężeniami łatwo rozpuszczalnych soli (NO₂, NO₃, SO₄) i ujemny dla trudno rozpuszczalnych fosforanów wapniowych.
The cowslip plants (Primula veris L.) in three natural populations in Wielkopolska flowered on 37.03% to 75.00% of individuals. In all the examined populations most of the cowslip plants had only one generative shoot. The mutual proportion of individuals with pin and thrum flowers was different. The fructifying intensity was rather low, and the real seed production (RSP) varied from 35.80 to 43.81 seeds in one capsule.
The aim of this study was to give ecological characteristic of D. mezereum. Ten populations from the Wielkopolska Lowland were examined. The habitats (plant communities, coenotic relations and soil conditions) of D. mezereum populations were described. 14 individual characters of D. mezereum shrubs (1 – leaf length, 2 – leaf width, 3 – leaf shape, 4 – possition of the widest part in percentage of the leaf length, 5 – no. of leaves on annual shoots, 6 – annual shoots length, 7 – ratio of no. of leaves to shoots length, 8 – flower diameter, 9 – flower tube length, 10 – no. of flowers on shoots, 11 – ratio of no. of flowers to shoots length, 12 – fruit length, 13 – fruit width, 14 – fruit shape) as well as content of macro- and microelements in leaves were examined. The relations between individual characters of D. mezereum and soils and leaves chemical characteristics were studied. On the ground of investigations the following conclusions have been made: 1. In the experimental plots (1 m2) 104 plant species representing different syntaxa coexist with D. mezereum and the number of taxa in the plots range from 16 to 28. That gives information about broad sociological and ecological amplitude of D. mezereum. 2. The soils vary in physical and chemical characteristics but all of them have low content of phosphorus. 3. The optimum habitat conditions are characterized by good structure, friable and humus soils of pH 5.7-6.8 and average content of available nutrients within marshy meadow (Circaeo-Alnetum) forest communities. 4. High amount of Ca and Mg in D. mezereum leaves is highly correlated with most characters of leaves, shoots and fruits. High amount of Ca (independently from pH of soil) indicates its special role in mineral feeding of D. mezereum shrubs.
