Coleophora chrysanthemi HOFMANN has been recorded for the first time from Poland. The data on its biology and diagnostic features enabling its identification are presented.
The first reliable records of Coleophora follicularis (VALOT, 1802) in Poland are given. The former records belong to Coleophora trochilella (DUPONCHEL, 1843).
The Coleophoridae from Lepidoptera collection of the Białowieża National Park (stored in Zoological Museum and Institute of Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw) have been revised. The list contains 40 species. C. boreella BENANDER 1933 is for the first time recorded in Poland.
Records of Coleophora riffelensis REBEL, 1913 are given. The species is new to Polish fauna. Illustrations of imago and larval case are provided. All specimens were reared from Dianthus arenarius L.
In the steppe-forest reserve „Bielinek" (NW Poland) 28 species of Coleophoridae were caught with the use of light in the years 1988-1991. The rarest, therefore the most interesting species are: Coleophora gryphipennella, C. albidella, C. tamesis, C. glaucicolella, C. taenipennella, C. sternipennella, C. saxicolella, C. peribenanderi, C. striatipennella, C. adspersella.
New data are given on 64 species of 22 Microlepidoptera families (excluding Tortricidae) for the province of Pomerania (northern Poland). 40 of these species have been recorded in this region for the first time in over 100 years.
