The paper continues information published in Annals of Warsaw Agricultural University, Forestry and Wood Technology, No. 53, 2003, pp. 323 - 326. Its objective is to acquaint with elaborated methods of measurements. Results are compared obtained in a new 12 kW electric motor of the stand for high-speed milling. The motor was tested when using 3 tools, viz. a 4-shaper head, a 6-shaper head (width 130 mm) and a 6-shaper head (width 100 mm). A significant effect has been proved of the construction arrangement of a tool and the tool speed on the resulting consumption of power. Results of measurements are documented by means of diagrams.
