Realization of the program CPRB-3.15 comprising 27 realization objects (12- extensioning, 8 - outstanding and 7 - cognitive ones) is discussed. Main attention is given to the subjects concerning fermentation branches and biotechnology.
A separate industry on the production of microbiological enzymatic preparations was called into being in Î96& 1970 in the capitalist countries and continues to he further developed and modernized« Research and development works concerning both the production technology of preparations of such a type and their practical application are being carried out since 1950 by the Institute of Food Industry Biotechnology (former Institute of Fermentation Industry). The production of pectinoly tic preparations was started in 1963. In the next years new technologies, their intensification and their production abilities began to be applied. In consequence the number of the preparations produced increased up to 10 in 1990. These preparations maintain at a good and medium world-wide level, their application efficiency in various food industry branches being, like in the whole world, very high.
Realisation of the programme „Improvement of production processes and quality in the fruit and vegetable processing industry at consideration of leguminous plants coordinated by the Institute of Biotechnology of the Fruit and Vegetable Processing Industry is presented. Valuable dietetic products for children, diabetics and low-calorific ones for general consumption have been developed. Suitability of new filtration masses is estimated, the clarifying technique of juices and their evaluation methods are presented. Works connected with an improvement of quality and salubrity of raw materials, semi-products and products were carried out.
