Effect of herbicides (Aminopielik D, Aminopielik M, Arelon 75 WP, Dicuran 80, Glean, Pielisam, Trinulam) on total protein content and amino acids composition, was investigated in the grain of three winter wheat varieties (Lańca, Polanka, Weneda). Field experiments were carried out over 1986-1989, in autumn and in spring. In general, an increase of total protein content in the grain of investigated wheat varieties following the treatment with herbicides, was noted. From among herbicides used, most active appeared Aminopielik M and Pielisam, when applied in spring. No disadvantageous effect of herbicides on exogenous amino acides content in the grain of Lańca and Polanka wheat varieties, was observed. On the other hand, a decresse of lysine level in the grain of Weneda wheat variety originating from two crops after treatment with most herbicides under test (except Aminopielik M, Trinulan, and Pielisam), and a decrease of threonine content after the treatment with Pielisam in autumn, was found.
Effect of herbicides (Aminopielik D, Aminopielik M, Arelon 75 WP, Dicuran 80, Glean, Pielisan, Trinulan) on total ash, dry weight, Ca, Mg, K, Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn content, was investigated in the grain of three winter wheat varieties - (Lanca, Polanka, Weneda). Fields experiments were carried out in autumn and in spring.
