Thrust force and torque in the drilling process laminated chipboard. Particleboard is a wood based composite extensively used in wood working. Drilling is the most commonly used machining process in furniture industries. The surface characteristics and the damage free drilling are significantly influenced by the machining parameters. The thrust force developed during drilling play a major role in gaining the surface quality and minimizing the delamination tendency. In this study trials were made eighteen durability tools for different values of the parameters analyzed cut. Based on the results obtained from the study, the effect of cutting parameters selected signals of axial force and torque cutting. Proposed mathematical models using ANOVA, allowing to estimate the cutting forces.
The empirical mode decomposition (EMD) method. The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is an empirically based data-analysis method. This paper is an introduction to the basic method, which is followed by brief descriptions of the recent developments relating to the normalized Hilbert transform, a confidence limit for the Hilbert spectrum, and a statistical significance test for the intrinsic mode function (IMF). The mathematical problems associated with the HHT are then discussed. These problems include the general method of adaptive data-analysis, the identification methods of nonlinear systems, the prediction problems in non stationary processes, which is intimately related to the end effects in the empirical mode decomposition (EMD), the spline problems, which center on finding the best spline implementation for the HHT, the convergence of EMD, and two-dimensional EMD, the optimization problem or the best IMF selection and the uniqueness of the EMD decomposition.
