Przeprowadzano stanowiskowe badania trzybębnowego zespołu wydzielającego współpracującego z cepowym zespołem młócącym kombajnu zbożowego. Omłotowi poddano pszenicę, żyto, jęczmień i owies. Określono ilość makro- i mikrouszkodzeń ziarna w zależności od parametrów roboczych badanego zespołu i wilgotności młóconego zboża.
This paper contains an analysis of publications and the author’s own investigations dealing with causes of damage to cereal grains by sowing, threshing and grain shifting assemblies. The causes of mechanical damage of grain in the analyzed processes were determined. The paper concludes by discussing the range of the most favourable settings of the analyzed working assemblies, within which the grain damage is the least.
On the basis of own studies and literature review the authors analysed energy consumption by combine harvesters. Considerable excess power in recent combine harvesters equipped with 80-250 kW engines enables normal operation even under extremally difficult conditions (instantaneous overloads). Moreover, at surplus power some additional technological and control facilities may be easy installed on the combines. The highest proportion of power (above 40%) is consumed by power transmission and drive, especially when hydraulic systems are applied. Also multi-drum and axial-flow threshing-cleaning assemblies of the combines are characterized by high energy consumption. About 30% of total energy is consumed by conventional threshing-cleaning assembly, while in axial - flow combine harvesters even by 20% more.
