This paper presents a method of the delimitation of litho-hydrotopes, which was implemented in a study of physical environment of the area in the vicinity of Ręczno. Litho-hydrotopes are geocomplexes of an unspecified taxonomic rank, which were delineated on the basis of two leading factors: lithology in its genetic aspect, and water conditions. Twenty one geocomplex types were distinguished and assigned to three groups: lithogenic geocomplexes, semi-lithogenic geocomplexes and hydrogenic geocomplexes. The scope of litho-hydrotope investigations is exemplified by a description of the geocomplex type no. 19. This type encompasses spatial units that are built of silts underlain by till. The description consists of tables and charts presenting the data from the documentation site Ręczno 1 and an archival material, and of the text. It includes an analysis of the vertical structure of the geocomplex type, a characteristic of the aeration and moisture conditions and of the nutrient status together with habitat conditions and of a land use pattern in the spatial units. The final chapter presents relations between the directions of land use in the study area and habitat potential of the geocomplex types. These connections are illustrated by the comparison of forests, arable land, meadows and pastures.
W artykule przedstawiono przykłady oceny walorów użytkowych czterech typów geokompleków częściowych (morfolitohydrotopów). Prezentowane przykłady pochodzą z obszaru testowego o powierzchni 320 km², położonego w środkowej części dorzecza Pilicy. Wśród prezentowanych morfolitohydrotopów krótko opisano: typ 1 - pyły pokrywowe na glinach zwałowych, wysoczyznowe; typ 2 - piaski i żwiry wodnolodowcowe poziomu erozyjno-akumulacyjnego; typ 3 - piaski i mułki rzeczne terasy zalewowej; typ 4 - piaski eoliczne wydmowe. Przedstawiono właściwości fizyczne i chemiczne utworów powierzchniowych ze stanowisk reprezentujących wybrane typy morfolitohydrotopów.
