Surface properties of beech wood after rotary smoothing. The paper concentrates on the study of the influence of thermo-mechanical treatment of wood in the scope of improving properties of wood surface. Testing samples were made of beech wood (Fagus silvatika). Smoothing was realized by unheated rotary steel roller on tangential surface of wood.
