Field experiments were carried out in 2007–2008 at the Research Station in Chylice in potatoes cultivar Ditta and Irga. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of herbicide Sencor 600 SC mixed with herbicide Titus 25 WG. Weed infestation in potatoes was varied depending on the course of vegetation. The number of recorded weed species ranged from 10 to 13. The dominant weed species were: Echinochloa crus-galli, Chenopodium album, Amaranthus retroflexus, Viola arvensis, Matricaria inodora and Solanum nigrum. The mixture of herbicide Sencor 600 SC + Titus 25 WG + Trend 90 EC irrespective of the application date was showed good results in controlling a wide range of weed species as well as full selectivity to potato plants. The efficacy of the applied herbicide mixture ranged in 87–100%. A lower effectiveness was observed for Fallopia convolvulus and Solanum nigrum.
Field experiments were carried out in 2010–2011 at the Research Station in Chylice. The objective of this study was efficacy of new herbicide BAS 812 00 H (tritosulfuron + florasulam) used against weed control in spring in winter cereals (wheat cultivar Ludwig and Muszelka, triticale cultivar Grenado and Alekto, rye cultivar Dańkowskie Diament and Caroass and barley cultivar Sigra). The herbicides were applied in the spring at tillering of winter wheat and triticale (BBCH 21–27) and at the shooting growth stage of winter wheat, triticale, rye and barley (BBCH 33–37). In all experimental variants the same herbicide treatments and doses were used. The standard herbicides at field experiment were Mustang 306 SE (tillering growth stage) and Starane Super 101 SE (shooting growth stage). Weed infestation in cereals depended on growing plant species and cultivars. In cereals the dominant weed species were: Viola arvensis, Stellaria media, Galium aparine and Matricaria inodora. Herbicide BAS 812 00 H efficiently controlled the most of dominant weed species. The lowest efficacy was observed in controlling V. arvensis, Geranium pusillum and Veronica spp.
Field experiments were carried out in 2008–2009 at the Research Station of the Department of Agronomy in Chylice. The objective of this study was weed control efficacy of two preparations DPX-CDQ 74 (metsulfuron methyl + tifensulfuron methyl) and Granstar 75 WG (tribenuron methyl) in winter wheat (cv. Ludwig and Smuga), triticale (cv. Magnat and Grenado), rye (cv. Warko and Dańkowskie Diament) and spring wheat (cv. Monsun and Żura), barley (cv. Nagradowicki and Justina). The herbicides were applied in the spring at tillering of cereals (BBCH 24–29) while weeds were controlled at the stage in BBCH 14–16/22–23. Herbicides were applied at the doses: DPX-CDQ 74 60 g/ha and 75 g/ha and Granstar 75 WG – 20 g/ha with adiuvant Trend 90 EC in dose 0.05%. Weed infestation in cereals depended on plant species and cultivars. In cereals the dominant weed species were: Papaver rhoeas, Viola arvensis, Veronica agrestis, Galium aparine, Lamium amplexicaule, Matricaria inodora, Stellaria media, Capsella bursa-pastoris (winter) and Chenopodium album, Amaranthus retroflexus and Polygonum spp. (spring). The results of presented research revealed a high level of efficacy (86–100%) of new herbicide DPX-CDQ 74 against dicotyledonous weeds.
Field experiments were carried out in 200–2009 at the Research Station of Department of Agronomy in Chylice. The objective of the study was the effectiveness of growth regulator BAS 12 208 W, used alone and with ammonium sulphate and retardant Cycocel 750 SL. Growth regulators were applied at 2 node of winter barley (BBCH 32) and at 3–4 node of spring barley (BBCH 33–34) in different doses. The best retardant effect was observed for BAS 12 208 W + Cycocel 750 SL in spring barley and for BAS 12 208 W + ammonium sulphate at the highest dose in winter barley. In field experiments barley logging was not recorded, and the yield value was comparable in all experimental objects.
Field experiments were carried out in 2006–2008 at the Research Station of Department of Agronomy in Chylice on potatoes cultivars Ditta and Irga. The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of herbicide Sencor 600 SC in a new formulation in comparison to efficacy of Sencor 70 WG. The herbicides were applied pre-emergence, post-emergence and together pre and post-emergence at the same doses of the preparations, but at different doses of active substance – metribuzine. Sencor 600 SC was applied at the lowest doses of metribuzine in comparison to Sencor 70 WG. The dominant weed species were: Echinochloa crus-galli, Chenopodium album, Matricaria inodora, Amaranthus retroflexus and Solanum nigrum. Sencor 600 SC used in all treatments at the lowest doses of metribuzine showed a higher efficacy than Sencor 70 WG.
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki dotyczące zachwaszczenia łanów i gleb przeprowadzone na polach produkcyjnych rzepaku ozimego w kilku Rolniczych Zakładach Doświadczalnych SGGW w trzech okresach wegetacji 1997-2000.
