EN

Reduction of NBT by polymorphonuclear neutrophils was determined by means of two techniques: cytochemical according to Park and spectrophotometrical according to Raman and Poland. Thirty two tests were performed on healthy lambs. A considerable correlation was observed between the results obtained using these two techniques. The authors suggest that spectrophotometric technique is easier, more objective and requires less blood for testing.
