Celem badań było określenie oddziaływania chromu (III) i chromu (VI) oraz kompostu, zeolitu i tlenku wapnia na zawartość węgla organicznego, fosforu, potasu i magnezu w glebie po zbiorze roślin. Glebę zanieczyszczono Cr (III) i Cr (VI) w ilościach 0, 25, 50, 100 i 150 mg Cr∙kg-1 gleby oraz wprowadzano: kompost i zeolit i tlenek wapnia. Zawartość węgla organicznego oraz przyswajalnych form: fosforu, potasu i magnezu w glebie zależała od zanieczyszczenia chromem (III) i chromem (VI) oraz dodatku kompostu, zeolitu i tlenku wapnia. Chrom (VI) silniej niż chrom (III) oddziaływał na zawartość C org. i potasu. Odwrotne zależności wykazano w przypadku fosforu i magnezu. Zanieczyszczenie gleby chromem (VI) zmniejszyło zawartość C org., zwiększyło natomiast zawartość fosforu i potasu. Chrom (III) przyczynił się do obniżenia zawartości węgla organicznego i fosforu, a zwiększył zawartość potasu i magnezu. Wszystkie zastosowane dodatki spowodowały zwiększenie zawartości węgla organicznego, fosforu i potasu, a kompost i zeolit także magnezu w glebie zanieczyszczonej Cr (VI). Ich wpływ w obiektach z Cr (III) był znacznie mniejszy, jakkolwiek w przypadku oddziaływania tlenku wapnia na zawartość magnezu w glebie zdecydowanie ujemny.

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of soil contamination with chromium (III) and chromium (VI) as well as the application of compost, bentonite and calcium oxide on the content of organic carbon and available forms of phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in the soil after plant harvest. The soil was contaminated with Cr (III) and Cr (VI) in the doses: 0, 25, 50, 100 i 150 mg Cr∙kg-1 of soil and compost, zeolite and calcium oxide were also applied. The content of organic carbon and the content of available forms of phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in the soil depended on its contamination with chromium (III) and chromium (VI) and on the application of compost, zeolite and calcium oxide. Chromium (VI) more strongly than chromium (III) affected the content of organic C and potassium. The opposite dependences were observed in the case of phosphorus and magnesium. The contamination of soil with chromium (VI) reduced the content of organic C and increased the content of phosphorus and potassium. Chromium (III) decreased the content of organie carbon and phosphorus, and increased the content of potassium and magnesium. All the applied additions caused an increase of the content of organic carbon, phosphorus and potassium. Compost and zeolite had the same effect on the magnesium content in soil contaminated with Cr (VI). In objects with Cr (III) their influence was considerably smaller, but calcium oxide had a negative effect on the content of magnesium in soil.
