A field experiment on the effect of insecticides applied against Colorado beetle on potato nutrient yields was conducted in 2004–2006 at the Experimental Farm in Zawady, belonging to the University of Podlasie in Siedlce. Two experimental factors were studied: I – potato cultivars: Wiking, Mors, Żagiel; II – chemical control of the post including: 1. control object (without chemical treatments); 2. Actara 25 WG – 80 g/ha; 3. Regent 200 SC – 100 ml/ha; 4. Calypso 480 SC – 50 ml/ha; 5. Calypso 480 SC – 75 ml/ha; Calypso 480 SC – 100 ml/ha. The results of performed experiments revealed that the highest yield values of tubers’ dry matter, starch and general protein were obtained in the object with the insecticide Calypso 480 SC at the doses of 100 and 75 ml/ha. The lowest yield values of potato nutrient were shown in the control object without chemical treatments against Colorado beetle.
