Abstrakty

EN

One important factor behind the economic growth of regions includes human resources, in particular, labor resources. The theory of economic base deals with the problems related to the structure and allocation of labor resources, specialization and local surpluses of employees and their importance to the economic development of territorial units. The indirect research methods developed as part of the theory of the economic base were applied in this article to perform a synthetic assessment of the structure and allocation of labor resources and its relations to the economic growth of the Małopolskie Voivodeship gminas.
