Авторы проследили заводскую карьеру 177 полукровных кобыл, которые после пребывания их на ипподроме в горах 1967-1973 вернулись в свои конзаводы. Их число составляло 42,4% всех испытыванных в этих годах кобыл. После первого сезона включено в маточное стада 42,1%, а после двух - 43,6%. Учтено результаты 3 очередных сезонов расплода. Сравнение племенных показателей кобыл испытанных на ипподроме с аналогическими данными из сверстниц не обнаружило отрицательного влияния пребывания кобыл на ипподроме на их дальнейшую заводскую карьеру.

There has been investigated the breeding performance of 177 half-bred mares racing in 1967-73, qualified for breeding in the studs of descent. It appeared, that it comprised 42,4% of all half-bred mares racing in those years. After the first racing season 42,1% of mares were put into the motherstud and after two seasons 43,6% of them. Results of the first three breeding seasons were investigated. The obtained data were compared with similar reproductive performances of their coevals, which hadn’t beer racing. It has been concluded, that reproductive indices of the mares (conception, barren rendering, number of abortions and number of alive born foals; all in relation to the covered mares) after return to the stud do not show any negative influence of the racing activity on the subsequent breeding career.
