W miarę dojrzewania kompostu następował wzrost rozpuszczalności Mg, Na i Cu, a spadek pozostałych makro i mikroelemntów.

The objective of the study was to evaluate the changes in chemical composition of municipal wastes in the course of composting after the „Dano" method. It was found that the initial product as well as the composts sampled after 7, 14, 30, 90 and 180 days of storing on a heap contained high amounts of Ca, Mg, S, Pb, Zn, Fe. medium K, Na, Cu, Cr, Ni, Cd and low P. The percentage of water-soluble forms in total contents of the elements studied depended on the time of composting. Moderately ripening to maturity of compost increased the solubility of Mg, Na, Cu but decreased the rest of macro and microelements.
