In the article, the position of the particular branches of Polish food industry on the EU market was discussed. The volume of trade within the frames of Individual sectors was determined on the grounds of Eurostat data on the level of four- digit aggregation ofproducts'groups. The analysis concerns trade balance and evaluation of competitiveness, using the revealed comparative advantage Indicators (RCA - Reveale Comparative Advantages and TC- , Trade Coverage). In connection with the fact that 76% of the EU tradeis an Internal trade, the study focuses exclusively on trade flows between the particular European Union countries. The analysis demonstrates that there are further opportunities for growth of Polish agri-food expon to the EU market.
