The tests and the presented results show the characteristics of somatic feature of male youth aged 16–21. The subjects serve the sentence of imprisonment in Poland and Germany. Based on the results of own tests it was established that on a statistically highly significant level there are differences in somatic structure between the compared groups. In order to sum up the presented analysis of the selected aspects, it may be unambiguously stated that it constitutes grounds for the indisputable thesis on the significant influence of both the endogenous and exogenous factors on the biological development of a human being.
