Physical education lessons outdoors have an objective to stimulate the need of movement for a young person, to toughen the body and to show the possibility of using the natural terrain in the immediate vicinity. The dynamic development of science and technology makes people forget about their biological needs. Technology makes life easier, but unfortunately at the same time, negatively affects humans physically and psychologically. As a physical education teacher, I realized how much influence I have to build awareness among students and prophylaxis in the prevention of diseases of the modern world. I know what a great opportunity it is for the pupils to have an adequate dose of movement in physical education lessons outdoor, and in sports and recreations in the context of extracurricular activities. My curiosity of understanding the impact of outdoor activities has led me to try to prove if high frequency of lessons outdoors has an impact on the improvement of strength and speed in pupils of grades IV – VI of primary school.
