Science Council for Physical Education as an advisory and consultative body within the State Office for Physical Education and Cadet Corps dealt, in the years 1927–1939 with issues of physical education and sports of women. Women were members of Science Council for Physical Education. Two of them – Eugenia Lewicka and Kazimiera Muszałówna – served as Secretaries of the Council. Plenary sessions of the Council dealt with physical activity of women. Women were active during meetings of Science Council for Physical Education and its committees. Science Council for Physical Education were trying to work out a uniform position in relation to popularization and development of physical education and sports among women in Poland.
