The incidence and number of mosquitos in Sztutowo region were found to be related to climatic factors of a given summer, mostly to the amount of precipitation. No differences were seen in the species composition of larvae in reservoirs under examination, except for quantitative variations, resulting from the predilection of individual species to certain sites. Migrations of mosquitos were observed, caused by various factors including - among others - strong wind.
