Styles of governance in schools of agriculture on the background of comprehensive knowledge about leadership

The paper deals with the following problems: 1) leadership as managing factor; 2) essence of governance style (leadership); 3) governance styles in opinion of theorists in field of organisation and management; 4) research on styles of governing in school of agriculture; 5) selection of leadership styles in dependence on situation (styles relativity). The first three problems together with the fifth one were presented in convention of theoretical study based on review of the newest literature of the subject. Investigation about styles of governing in school of agriculture was aimed at determination of directors’ preferences according to choosing leadership style. Declarations of the interviewed indicate that directors of schools of agriculture favour club style which emphasises chief concern with situation when employees feel good in the organisation and which gives them much flexibility in fulfilling their official duties.
