The article presents, on the basis of many years of studies and research, locations of 57 rare species of Cerambycidae in the Beskid Zachodni mountain range (The Western Beskid mountains range). The new species are: Euracmaeops septentrionis (T HOMS.), Grammoptera abdominalis (STEPH.), Anoplodera sexguttata (FABR .), Ropalopus clavipes (FABR .), Phymatodes alni (L.), Plagionotus detritus (L.), Xylotrechus antilope (SCHÖNH.), Monochamus saltuarius occidentalis S LÁMA, Tetrops starkii (CHEVR .), Agapanthia intermedia G ANGLB . Pseudogaurotina excellens (B RANCS.) and Rosalia alpina (L.) have been discovered for the first time in new locations and also have been confirmed in the older locations. These species have been mentioned in the 2nd Annex to Habitats Directive of EU as important and are prioritized as such. They are protected by law in Poland. P. excellens is a species with small but stable presence in the Beskid Żywiecki mountain range but is extremely rare in the Beskid Sądecki mountains range. R. alpina was spotted only in the Beskid Sądecki mountain range, where its population is stable and slowly increasing. Among endangered species, according to PAWŁOWSKI et al. (2002) there are Pachyta lamed (L.), Stenopterus rufus (L.); LC (least concern): Pseudogaurotina excelens (B RANCS.); VU (vulnerable): Ergates faber (L.); EN (endangered): Rosalia alpina (L.). The Beskid Śląski mountains range and Pogórze Śląskie still require detailed scientific studies as they are believed to house numerous rare species which have not been confirmed there for over 100 years.Taking into account all the findings in the Beskid Zachodni mountain range the prevalence of 148 species of Cerambycidae has been proved. This is the region with the highest prevalence of Cerambycidae family in Poland.
