Official control of medicated feedingstuffs in Poland

This paper describes the results of an official control of medicated feedingstuffs in Poland. Overall, within almost three years, 991 samples of the medicated feedingstuffs, medicated premixes, intermediate products and cleaning mixtures were examined. Among the medicated feeds, 76 (9.46%) were non-compliant with declaration or their homogeneity was incorrect - the value of CV was ≥ 15%. Out of the 75 cleaning mixtures, 15 (20.0%) were positive. This means that they contained residues of an active substance used in the medicated feedingstuff.
