Badania przeprowadzono we wsi Jasionka, na odłogu piaszczystym meliorowanym osadami ściekowymi z oczyszczalni typu Lemna, gdzie posadzono krzaczastą formę wierzby energetycznej Salix viminalis. Wyniki porządkowano z pomocą arkusza kalkulacyjnego EXCEL 2000, a obliczone średnie porównywano z użyciem programu STATISTICA PL. W glebie badanych stanowisk odnaleziono cztery gatunki dżdżownic: Aporrectodea rosea (Sav.), Aporrectodea caliginosa (SAV.), Lumbricus rubellus (HOFFM.) i Lumbricus terrestris (L.) w średniej liczebności 35,2 ± 24,4 os.∙m-2 przy średniej sumie biomasy 10,326 ± 6,493 os.∙m-2. Najliczniej stwierdzano Lumbricus rubellus. W pracy wykazano, że materia zawarta w osadach wprowadzanych do odłogu piaszczystego powodowała zmniejszenie liczebności lub spadek masy ciała odnalezionych gatunków Lumbricidae. Natomiast obecność wierzby energetycznej, doprowadziła do znacznego wzrostu populacji Lumbricidae.

The study was conducted in the village of Jasionka, on a sandy wasteland ameliorated with sewage sludge from Lemna based treatment facility, and planted with a shrub type of energetic willow Salix viminalis. The plantation is surrounded by an unused meadow. In the aforementioned ground three sampling sites were marked: S1 - a site within a belt, where the sewage sludge was introduced and then the willow was planted, S2 - a check plot planted with the willow on the ground which was not reclaimed with sewage sludge, S3 - area within the aforementioned sandy wasteland with grass plants (not ameliorated with sewage sludge). Earthworms were extracted by means of a weak formalin solution, the ones found were counted, weighed to determine the density and biomass of individual specimens and populations. The results were computed by means of EXCEL 2000 calculation sheet, and obtained mean results were compared with STATISTICA PL programme. In the soil of the studied locations four species of earthworms were found Aporrectodea rosea (SAV.), Aporrectodea caliginosa (SAV.), Lumbricus rubellus (Hoffm.) i Lumbricus terrestris (L.): mean density 35.2 ± 24.4 ind.∙m-2 with average total biomass 10.326 ± 6.493 g∙m-2. The most frequently found was Lumbricus rubellus. The study showed that the matter contained in sludge introduced to the sandy wasteland resulted in reduced density or the loss of body mass in the extracted species of Lumbricidae, while the presence of energetic willow led to considerable growth in the Lumbricidae population.
