The paper concerns 17 species of the Ichneumonidae, subfamily Phygadeuontinae. Based on several collections, the descriptive types of 41 species-group forms described by 18 authors have been investigated, 8 lectotypes selected, 24 new synonyms and 6 new combinations proposed. A key to the European short-winged females and their males of the genus Pleolophus Townes is provided.

W pracy zawarto rewizję 41 typów opisowych gatunków i odmian opisanych przez 18 autorów, które należą do 17 gatunków z podrodziny Phygadeuontinae (Ichneumonidae). Wyznaczono 8 lektotypów, ustalono 24 nowe synonimy i 6 nowych kombinacji. Umieszczono również klucz do oznaczania samic o zredukowanych skrzydłach i ich samców z rodzaju Pleolophus Townes.

В работе содержится ревизия 41 описательных типов видов и разновидностей принадлежащих к 17 видам из подсемейства Phygadeuontinae (Ichneumonidae), описанных 18 авторами. Автор обозначил 8 лектотипов, установил 24 новых синонима и 6 новых комбинаций. Замещен также ключ для самок с редуцированными крыльями и их самцов из рода Pleolophus Townes.
