EN

Environmentally responsible stock exchange indices found their position in the main stream of fi nancial markets. They are based on securities of companies representing power industry, especially those obtaining energy from renewable sources, and companies representing other domains in which environmental protection plays a crucial role. There are also other products, i.e. investment funds and stock exchange indices that operate using various criteria in the selection of investments. Green investment funds attract investors with personal preferences to this kind of investments and those who are convinced that ecologically responsible industries will generate a positive risk return compromise in the future. Ecologically responsible stock exchange indices are a good tool to measure the market development of those investments.
