Autorka przedstawiła związek, jaki zachodzi między skórą a resztą organizmu, omówiła szczegółowo anatomię skóry, następnie zaś zajęła się tematem „skóra a kosmetyki”. Zadaniem środków pielęgnacyjnych pownino być zachowanie przemyślanego naturalnego systemu obronnego skóry. Najczęściej jednak niszczą one pożyteczną florę bakteryjną, atakują wierzchnią warstwę skóry, jej komórki. W rezultacie bariera ochronna przesuwa się w głąb skóry.

The author presented the relationship between the skin and the rest of human organism, presented in detail the anatomy and tackled the problem „the skin and cosmetics”. The main purpose of skin care should be careful preservation of natural protective system in skin. Most often, the cosmetics destroy the protective bacterial flora, affect the outer surface of the skin and its cells. As a result the protective barrier is shifted deep under the skin surface.
