EN
A new flavonoid compound, 40-O-α-rhamnopyranosyl (1 + 2)-β-xylopyranoside of 7-O-methylapigenin (1) was isolated from the leaves of Trollius europaeus. The structure of this compound was elucidated by spectroscopic methods (UV, 1D NMR, 2D NMR and MS). Compound (1) was analyzed for antioxidant activity in DPPH assay.
