Field experiments were conducted in 2008–2010 at the Brody Experimental Station. The aim of this investigation was to determine the influence of applied selected foliar fungicides on the occurrence of fungal diseases of the leaves OF winter rye. The dominant pathogens identified on winter rye plants were: Puccinia recondita sp. recondita, Blumeria graminis on leaves. Fungicides applied on experimental plots showed a high and long lasting effectiveness in the control of diseases especially strobilurine. Winter rye grain yield increased by 24.9–28.7% due to fungicide application.
