Most of the species discussed herein are widely distributed in Poland (GIERLASIŃSKI and T ASZAKOWSKI 2013-2024). In the material analyzed, the species preferring deciduous trees, such as Aradus betulae and A. depressus, were represented as the most numerous. Considering that pine forests dominate in the Oborniki area, where most of the observations were conducted, this may indicate their intensive exploitation. This exploitation leads to the elimination of old trees and, consequently, the associated Aradidae species, even those as common nationally as Aradus cinnamoenus. In this context, Aradus bimaculatus and A. brevicollis are noteworthy. Both species have been recorded from northwestern Poland from a single site, which most certainly does not reflect their distribution in this part of the country. Thus, despite a significant increase in records of the Aradidae, the current knowledge of their distribution in northwestern Poland remains unsatisfactory. This is due both to a specific lifestyle as well as the necessity of using different research methods, which complicates field observations.
