In 2009–2010 a species composition of click beetles larvae in potato crops, grain crops and pasture in different agrocenoses and co-occurrence of entomopathogenic nematodes (Steinernemadidae, Heterorhabditidae) with Elateridae were studied. The population of larval Elateridae included the dominant – dusky click beetle Agriotes obscurus L. and lined click beetle Agriotes lineatus L. Steinernema feltiae and S. carpocapsae the only nematodes were recovered from the soil, especially in spring. No nematodes of Hererorhabditidae family there were isolated. It seems that the abundance of entomopathogenic nematodes may depend not only on insect hosts, soil texture and soil moisture but also foraging strategy of each of the parasite species.
