Cereal grain is the basis product for human food and livestock feed, and an important raw material for industry. During the storage process of grain, a subject of matter are it`s to quantitative and qualitative losses. This is due to poor technical conditions of storehouses and activity of grain-feeding pests, especially mites and insects. The implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) into storehouses allows to limit these losses considerably, with minimal usage of plant protection products, with minimal environmental pollution, and thus allows to limit the financial investment. The main elements of IPM in grain storage are the quality management, prevention of pest infestation, and pest control.
