In this paper the problems connected with interactions between bacterial cells and bacteria and plants are discussed. Soil microorganisms, depending on their physiological properties, may relatively freely move in the space between abiotic and biotic elements and colonize free nishes, as well as, may form biofilms in which bacteria tightly adhere to mineral and organic soil particles. However, these bacteria also can move and what is more important may communicate with other microorganisms and plants via quorum sensing. How bacteria talk to each other and what is mechanisms of interactions between microorganisms, in both of positive and negative meaning? Do only physical forces play an important role or also biological processes in which bacterial cells send signals that are recognized by other microorganisms.
