The research was carried out in 2007–2009. The aim of the research was to evaluate the influence of Brassicacea (winter rape, spring rape, white mustard, Chinese mustard) used as a previous crop and to manage post-harvest residue (ploughing in the stubble, ploughing in the stubble and straw, ploughing in the stubble, straw and oilcake) on the occurrence of winter wheat root and foot rot. The symptoms of Fusarium foot rot (Fusarium spp.) were the most frequent. Brassicacae used as a previous crop inhibited the occurrence of stem base diseases. White mustard most significantly influenced on winter wheat health status. Ploughing in the stubble and straw affected the increase of root rot intensity.
