Niniejsze opracowanie dotyczy problematyki uwarunkowań infrastrukturalnych rozwoju fanoturystyki na obszarze województwa dolnośląskiego w odniesieniu do wydarzeń sportowych. Aktywność turystyczna połączona z zainteresowaniem sportem nabiera coraz większego znaczenia na całym świecie. Partycypowanie w wielkich wydarzeniach staje się coraz popularniejsze wśród zarówno młodych, jak i starszych biernych turystów sportowych. Zainteresowanie takim rodzajem aktywności turystycznej ma na celu przeżywanie ekstremalnych doznań, a wszechobecne popularyzowanie zdrowego oraz sportowego stylu życia staje się podstawą do codziennej egzystencji. W tym przypadku zostanie dokonany pewien rekonesans luki badawczej poznawczej oraz empirycznej w zakresie postrzegania uwarunkowań infrastrukturalnych dla rozwoju fanoturystyki w perspektywie obszaru Dolnego Śląska. Dokonano kwerendy literatury i analizy danych wtórnych, przede wszystkim na podstawie Banku Danych Lokalnych Gųównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Została wykorzystana metoda analizy statystycznej. Celem badań była identyfikacja i charakterystyka uwarunkowań infrastrukturalnych rozwoju fanoturystyki w województwie dolnośląskim w odniesieniu do wydarzeń sportowych. Zaprezentowano obraz tego zjawiska na podstawie wyliczonych wskaźników funkcji turystycznej i funkcji fanoturystycznej.

This chapter of the monograph deals with the issue of infrastructural conditions for the development of fanotourism in the area of Lower Silesia from the point of view of sports events. Tourism activity combined with interest in sport is becoming increasingly important around the world. Participation in great events is becoming increasingly popular among both young and older sports tourists. The interest in this kind of tourist activity is aimed at experiencing extreme sensations, and the ubiquitous popularization of a healthy and sporty lifestyle becomes the basis for everyday existence. In this case, there will be some reconnaissance of the research gap: cognitive and empirical in terms of perception of infrastructural conditions for development of fanotourism in the perspective of the Lower Silesia area. Literature queries and analysis of secondary data were carried out, mainly on the basis of the Central Statistical Office Local Data Bank. The method of statistical analysis was used. The aim of the research was to identify and characterise the infrastructural conditions for the development of fanotourism in the area of the Lower Silesian Voivodship in relation to sports events. A picture of this phenomenon is presented on the basis of calculated indicators of the tourist and fanotourism function.
