The analysis of the demonstrated material shows that Lagria hirta (L.). is the most frequently observed species in Western Poland. Moreover, in recent years, new occurrences of hitherto rarely recorded species, such as Alphitophagus bifasciatus (S AY), Corticeus bicolor (OLIV.), Neomida haemorrhoidalis (F.), and Lagria atripes M ULS., have been increasing. Worth noting is also Cynaeus angustus (LEC .) – a species alien to Polish fauna. Over the course of two years that have passed since the last time it was recorded in the environs of Oborniki Śląskie, it has been expanding across Lower Silesia, Lubusz Land, and Greater Poland, reaching up to the Warta Valley.
