Health condition and parasites of Cyprinus carpio L. in the Ukraine regions neighbouring with Poland were subjected to detailed analysis. A great reduction up to the suppression of a number of parasites could be observed as a result of improvement in fish breeding conditions. The remaining important parasites are: Ichtyophthirius muitifiliis, Dactylogyrus anchoratus, D. extensus and Argulus foliaceus.
