The study was conducted in 2006–2007 on the plots at the Experimental Station in Mydlniki, belonging to University of Agriculture in Krakow. The objective was to determine the abundance and population dynamics of Frankliniella intonsa Trybom on pea (Pisum sativum L.), bean (Phaselous vulgaris L., lentil [Lens culinaris (Medic.)] and soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrem] during a growing season. The presence of F. intonsa on legumes vegetables is closely related to the presence of flowering plants. The first specimens of F. intonsa were caught with the appearance of first flowers, than their number has increasedrapidly, reaching a maximum at the full flowering period, and after flowering plants decreased. Among all the compared plants species F. intonsa most of infested pea and lentil.
