In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the vitamin B discovery by Kazimkrz Funk, the author describes in a series of examples chosen for that purpose, the value of varius vitamins in the course of parasites invasions, emphasitzing the role of those parasites as factors handicapping vitamin exchange in the body of the host.
