The paper presents 15 species of Noctuoidea that are new to southern Podlasie. Additionally, 3 species belonging to the group of migratory species, rarely found in Poland , were recorded. Among the mentioned species, deserving special attention are: E. parva and E. candefacta, which were found to be new to Poland only in the XXI century. Their finding for the second time confirms the occurrence of these species in Poland. In turn, the recording of three rare species from the migrant group in Poland: P. stolida, S. exigua and M. vitellina confirms previous observations, that the area of eastern Poland lies on the route of permanent Lepidoptera migrations from the region of south-eastern Europe northwards to the Baltic countries and southern Scandinavia.
