Effect of the thyroid-stimulating hormone on the distribution of radioactive iodine (¹²⁵J) in rabbits irradiated externally with ionizing rays was investigated. It has been found that the influence of the hormone on the distribution of this isotope in examined organs depended on the radiation dose and time of contamination of irradiated rabbits.
