One-factorial field experiment was designed by the randomized block method in four replicants, according to the agrotechnical recommendations concerning lawn arrangement. The estimation of studied properties was done on the basis of 9-degree scale. The kind of fertilization with microelements constituted the experimental factor. The foliar fertilization with single microelements: copper, zinc, manganium, iron as well as with multicomponent Plonvit P preparation containing chelated elements was applied. It was stated that applied fertilization affected significantly higher quality of the sward. Iron fertilization resulted in higher leaf colour valuation. On the other hand, foliar application of manganium caused 19,5% higher valuation of the leaf structure as compared to the control field. Moreover, greater resistance to diseases of the plants under foliar fertilization with examined microelements, especially with zinc and multicomponent Plonvit P preparation, was observed.
