Using microagglutination, hemagglutination and complement fixation methods, carried out by quantitative technique, the antigenic structure of 23 T. vaginalis strains, isolated from patients of Białystok voivodeship, was compared. Four immune rabbit sera obtained from rabbits immunized with 4 different T. vaginalis strains were used in the experiments. The results would suggest the existence of several serologic types among the strains under examination; 13 of them had antigenic structure similar to that of strains 1-110, 386 and 516, the antigenic structure of 5 strains being comparable to that of strain TA. The remaining 5 strains were serologically different from TA and the strains 1410, 386 and 516.
